Numb buttocks
Curious to know if any of you have changed out your class "C" drivers seat? If so what did you change it to. We all know that those seats are bout as comfortable as riding the pine at a baseball game.

The power adjustable seat in our WS31 is quite comfortable. I wouldn't say no to a plush captains tho! LOL

Gosh, I think the seats in my 2017 Freedom Elite are great! Now the legroom on the drivers side is another story! Can't move the seat back - or recline it any - because it hits the dinette. I'm just 5'11" and it's pretty close. If I don't stop and get out to walk around every few hours I actually get swelling and cramps in my lower legs.

If you think that RVers worry about seats: you've never taken a peek inside a motorcyclist's forum.
We spend more time talking about seats, helmets, and tires; than we do about great places to ride!

We changed out the seats with heated, power, messager, swivels. Cliff made a new base that bolted to the existing base, but he moved the seat toward the center and back as far as it could go. We removed the dinette and made an L-shaped sofa. Now we can sit back and relax better when parked.

Thank you. I used to build houses, but remodeling the RV is more fun.

I have to complete the sofa upholstery, but the comforter cover works for now. A twin sheet fits over the cushion when I use it for a bed

The back of the sofa has storage and cup holders. We are adding more holders when we get a chance. I am 3d printing mounts for the side cameras and holders for small items that can be attached to inside door cabinets.

I have photos in an older post. We just made a pattern from the new base, laid them out where we wanted them and cut holes for existing holes, then welded bolts to the plate.
When we get home I will look for my old images. Thank you so much for the reply.

Yes if you don't mind. I would really love to do that to our rig. Space is such a luxury you know.

Nicely done, for sure. Couldn't function well without the dinette though.

We use folding tv trays. If we had a longer rv instead of the fe22, we would just modify the dinette to be more comfortable for 2 bigly people. We couldn't relax like we can with a plush sofa.
