Outside TV Replacement

Has anyone with a Challenger replaced the outside TV? And if so, what did you go with?

Our outside TV has gone bad. Displaying two horizontal bands across the middle of the screen. I'm pretty sure it is from not having enough room and the door pressing against the TV when closed, but Thor tells me my coach is no longer under warranty (expired in May), so it's my problem.

I measured and the depth of the TV, at most, can only be 2.5 inches in order for the door to close. But so far I haven't had any luck finding a replacement that is 2.5 inches or less. The way the compartment is designed, there is no way to make the depth greater without cutting out the steel plate that the TV mounts on.

I just took a look at my setup, 33super c, on the backside of my tv area is the bathroom, is yours in the same location? i would start by seeing if there is space between the two walls, being a cabinet maker i wouldnt hesitate to make it a bit deaper so you have more tv options. another option would be to remove that bracket and try to get some of that bend out of the legs where the screw holes are. i havent use that tv yett, prob never will.
