Mattress Replacement?

has anyone replace their mattress and had great results. We are searching, since we know we need a better bed. We have a queen short. We already have a topper on it.

Not in our current MH but in our previous RV, we had good results with IKEA foam mattresses.

In your "searching" did you do a search on this forum? Dozens of threads regarding mattress replacement/upgrade with the same answers in all the threads. We used https://www.mattressinsider.com/ for ours as have several others on this Forum. We have been very pleased with their product.

I used a custom mattress company and told them the size we needed, the type of mattress we wanted with the pillow top and everything and in a week they made it and it was $600.

They are in California and I'm sure it would be hard to ship and deal if you're in another state. But try and find a company similar near you.

We just bought a My Pillow Mattress topper to go over the factory mattress. Going out in it a a couple of weeks will try it out.

The only thing that worked for me was a Sleep Number mattress. Yes they do make RV specific mattresses.

Just replaced our mattress on a new Magnitude. Went with Denver Mattress in Lincoln Nebraska. They have really nice short queens. Installed last week and the slide closes well and I can still raise the bed. If I’m not mistaken, Newmar uses Denver Mattress.

I Recommend a sleep number mattress for your motorhome. They make a specific one for RVs. If you don’t want to go through that much expense I highly recommend a memory foam mattress

Barney Visser is the sole owner of Denver Mattress, Furniture Row, Sofa Mart, Pillow Kingdom, to name a few. Our sticks and bricks mattress is s queen, Denver Mattress, "Doctor's Choice, Firm" and our relcners are from Furniture Row. There are at least 9 different types and qualities of Denver Mattresses in various sizes. Denver Mattress does have an RV specific line, but it is OEM and CW only (not carried in Denver Mattress stores).

We replaced ours last year (after new toppers would just sink into the spots that were already low) with a Denver Hybrid and we LOVE it! I have back issues from injuries and toss and turn...now I sleep all night without issues. There are some threads in here somewhere, not sure how to find them, with a lot of advice and "reviews" of sorts. Good luck and happy sleeping.

Go to Mattress Insider....THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sarah helped me and it is the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on, including my $8000 Temperdic with massage and head and leg adjustments. The best thing is if your not happy she said to just take it to the closest GoodWill or Salvation Army and mail them the receipt and they refund you 100%. I asked her if she ever had one come back and she told me in 5 years not one!!!! I kept mine and you'll keep yours. Even better, I extended my bed base by 6" and got one that is within one inch of my wardrobe when I run my slide in and I'm 6'6" tall and I got all kinds of room. They make it to your dimentions when you order it. You'll thank me on this one!!!! Bob Trice

we bought a foam mattress in a box, works great and is easy to get into the RV by leaving it in the box and opening it in the bedroom.

Costco RV Mattres

We sleep very well on our CostCo RV Queen Foam mattress. Reasonably priced to boot!
