Glad it worked well for her. Always love hearing success stories.

The only change we need to make: add a "pool noodle" along the edge that hangs over the mattress. She had enopuigh sleeping room; but did hit her knees on it a couple of times.

I don't know if this'll work for and you may be saying the same thing with different terms but consider that pipe insulation at Lowe's or HD. It's already split and some have adhesive on the seam that's supposed to to seal it around the the pipes. It might be a good solution for grabbing the top and bottom of the table to hold it in place.

Good luck. Nice job BTW.

The template's there. I'm almost positive if you PM Bob, he'll give you the measurements.

The Final Update:
The two weeks that we spent in the "Life-Boat" went much better than we ever could have hoped for. We think that the softer RV mattress with the 3" topper on it never allowed the lines to get pinched, and restrict flow.
We'll be heading up to Cooperstown for the first week in September for a "real" camping trip with it.

Thanks for the info Bob.... havent quite gotten into doing the measurements to see where Larry’s equipment will work... his hook up is not big, just convert his cord to power from plug rather than battery.. but his battery charger is larger.. and if need be he can rotate his batteries. however we have double equipment so once it is figured out, we will just leave it in place.... he had to have 2 iron infusions this past 2 weeks so he is now getting his energy built up.....

Good luck to your wife... she is a lucky lady to have you.... PD will not be an option if Larry has to go back on HD.... because of this LVAD... but it is amazing what medicine has now....

If I can help you sort out the packaging issues for his gear: just let me know!
It it kind of amazing what can be done today...
Kathy is (of course...) on dialysis, and is currently hooked to a "chemo-pump".
And I'm on an insulin pump, and dragging around a wound-vac for my foot ulceration.
Getting old is fun: ain't it?
