I found my Magma grill had an adapter from the regulator valve adjuster to a flow adjuster with no regulator. Maybe your brand does also. good luck!

I have used this type of hose for years without a problem. It connects to the quick connect on my RV and then to my portable grills, Weber etc. I never modified anything.
