Propane tank. Adapter to grill from MH.

Looking for the adapter so I can use the connector from the propane tank in MH. I tried to straighten out the picture. I hope you see what I'm asking about. Thank you.

The quick connect fitting.

For the OP:

The RV uses a LOW PRESSURE propane distribution system, including at that quick connect. You will need a grill meant to use a LOW PRESSURE connection. A grill that uses 1 Lb bottles or a 20 Lb cylinder will not work with an "adapter"; you need to modify that type of grill to remove its regulator. Lotsa threads on this topic in the forum.

Check this from where I converted a Weber Q 2200. I included the parts list in the thread.

Remove the regulator from your propane grill.

Buy a threaded male quick connect adapter for your grill.

Buy a 10' long propane hose kit off Amazon with male quick connect fitting on one end; female quick connect on the other end.

Connect the hose between the MH and grill.

I adapted my Sam's Club table top grill with the following:

First, I removed the existing hose on the grill, including the regulator.

Then threaded on this Grill adapter where I removed the hose/regulator:

Then used a Hose with quick connect ends to connect:

Propane adapter for grill to MH

Ok, this is what my set up is. I have a Colman road trip grill. After removing the regulator, I found a male part. The regulator was attached via the female quick connection . so I figure I need a hose with a male gc to my MH and Female to my grill. What say ye?

This is all you need.

Or this one. It states it will fit the Coleman road trip grill, I believe they both use the same fitting.

Drives me nuts when these companies use oddball sized fittings. Typically you'd have another standard male fitting threaded onto the grill - which accepts a standard female quick connect. Yes you could do that here... but you must add yet another adapter to make that happen. It's nice to be able to easily disconnect that long length of propane hose for storage.

Below is a link to what I use for all of my propane stoves, grills, etc. The hose that came with your grill/stove will have a built-in regulator which you won't need as there is already one on your RV's propane tanks. Just hook this hose up to your stove/grill and then plug the other end into the quick-release port on your trailer and you will be good to go.

It's 12-foot long, very reasonably priced, and is the #1 Choice on Amazon. I can attest from personal use that it's very high-quality and I would not hesitate to recommend it or to buy it again - no "buyer's remorse" here!

Thank you. I purchased mine from Amazon but with an adaptation to fit the male end at the grill once the regulator was removed.

That works great on a grill that has separate flow control to the burners:

But what do you use when the grill's regulator is also the flow control?
