I have used my Rapid Camp a couple of times and it always failed to properly operate. If I used it to turn on the outside lights, they wouldn't turn off without removing the fuse. It never controlled the slide. In essence it was worthless. Everything it controlled is in an area were all you have to is push a button. Why use a remote? It's like having a remote for a dash radio, completely stupid.

The other side of the coin. I use the Rapid Camp anytime I am in the trees, just to make sure the slide and patio awning doesn't hit the limbs or the slide clears the pedestal. As for the radio remote, the dash radio also power the speakers above the recliners. When listening to the CDs relaxing with a cold one, it is nice to be able to adjust the volume, change the frequency balance or skip over selections, that don't fit my mood.
