I have had no issues with my rapid camp ever losing signal. I also took everything apart under the bed and made it so the receiving antenna was vertical. One small staple holds it in place. I did get Thor to send me the reprogramming instructions for the remote system. There are actually a lot of options in there, but they only have certain things wired in the receiving control (in my case, slides, awning, generator, light, and landing gear). I had to reprogram the landing gear because upon delivery it was not in there.

It never had once failed … and now that I say that, it will most likely fail on my next trip

once i install the network stuff, i plan to make use of the CAN ports for a custom phone app so i can start my generator from miles away like modern systems for much less since i already have 90% of the hardware. perhaps a ethernet (or WIFI) to CAN bridge or microcontroller.

or since all the signals are there (including some 30A box relays im assuming is for things like the on/off reversing for the awning) i might just replace the whole thing with a internet connected controller of my own.
