Okay, thanks. I've looked in most of those places but I'll give another look.

I took a few minutes today and couldn't find my control box. The next option is to check under the bed.

I've looked under the bed. That's where the fuses/circuit breakers are. Nothing there. If the dealer can even find it, I'll report back.
Again, thanks.

We just took delivery on our new Hurricane 31S this past Thursday. It has the Remote Camp Feature. The dealer never demo'd it, I think they forgot it is installed, and there is no documentation except online. The only useful item is the awning control. The rest seems like a lot of work for no convienece to watch from outside for leveling (engine needs to be running) and the slides.

I may have to get a telemarketer to find it. They can locate anything.

I use mine all the time. I travel alone so it's nice to be outside when putting out the slide so I don't hit anything. It's impossible to see from the inside on my full wall slide. I also keep it close by so if the wind kicks up I'll retract the awning.

No drawer under the fridge. There is a grill there but, looking through the slots, all I see is the furnace.

I actually use mine all the time as well for working the slides. The DW stays inside to make sure everything is clear, and I stand outside with the controller and work the slides and awning and make sure everything is clear.

Found it. It is under the bed. I guess I didn't look closely enough the first dozen times :-) Anywho, all is well. Things work as advertised. Thanks to all for the help.

When you configured the system did it let you change names of things? Currently mine says Slide 1, Slide 2, and Slide 3. I would like to change that to Living Area, Kitchen and Bedroom.

Actually, the dealer configured it. I had to bring it in for a couple of minor issues and all they did was pair the remote to the control box (receiver?). I'm not sure about reconfiguring it but I would be surprised if it's possible. Seems like a pretty simple remote. It's not an issue for me because I only have two slides and the main is Slide 1 so I think I can rember that :-)

Why does the engine have to be running on the Outlaw before you level it? Are the hydraulics powered from the engine, chassis battery or house battery?

I see a antenna type wire hanging in my battery compartment, maybe you can start there.

probably safety issues.
To level, parking brake must be on, engine running.
to put slide out engine must be shut off and key off.

I seldom use mine. It seems that it wants to stop working on the middle of an activity. For example, putting out the awning I press and hol the extend button. Awning starts out and then stops even though the button is still pressed. After all I have read on this forum about not putting slides out halfway and then stopping I sure won't use it to put out the slides if it is going to stop part way out.

Not positive but it could be that the leveling jacks run off the chassis battery rather than the house batteries or that the converter charger cannot handle the power demand of the leveling jacks.

I do know that when I get a low voltage error the way to correct the problem is to turn off the jacks and let the coach run for a minute or so before turning the jacks back on. Also, the error appears whenever I turn on the jacks within the first minute or two of starting the coach.

As a few have said, I have never used mine. Also keep in mind you need to keep
the remote charged up.

The value of the Rapid Camp system to me is if you are in a tight campground and want to put out the slide. It is nice to be able to stop it before it hits a tree limb and beats yelling to the DW inside the Motorhome.

As far as the light goes, I am think of putting a motion activated smart light instead of the porch light installed by Thor.

I agree with Fred, the other big use is setting the jacks on not so level ground.

Ive have a call to Thor, we should be able to rename the display. Like Front awning, DS slide, PS front slide, etc..

Its one of those things that If I didn’t have it, no big deal but I have it and at times it can be handy.
