Axxera to Kenwood Camera Question

Hoping someone who’s installed a Kenwood can help here. Replacing the Axxera. For the rear camera the Kenwood has a wire that says “Reverse” and to hook it up to “vehicle’s reverse lamp harness”.
My Thor has a wire labeled “connect to monitor trigger wire” that was hooked up to the Axxera’s “Back View Control”.

Would I hook up the Kenwood “Reverse” wire to the “monitor trigger wire”, or seek out the reverse lamp harness?

That's what I'm about to do, installing a JVC replacement. Except there's no such label on the wire in mine, but it makes sense because the ACE triggers the monitor on for turn signals as well as back-up.
