Rear Ladder Repair

I would venture a guess that 99.9% of rv techs know better than to use the mounted ladder, even the guys washing mine bring/use their own ladders

I almost fell of the ladder on my 2016 windsport. I can not believe how bad this ladder is It is very dangerous. Thor should replace them and have a sticker on them warning how dangerous they are

Getting our ladder "repaired" (tightened the bolts down to the rear cap wall) was on our list of warranty repairs. Since I didn't have access to the inside of the rear wall, a tech had to handle redoing the bolts that the ladder is attached with. I tried to take my 250 lbs. up the ladder and it was fine until my weight cleared the halfway point, then it started drooping. Now I use a 12' collapsible ladder for all work and roof access.

Yes I just bought one too. I also filed a complaint with CPSC government agency about this defective product. Somebody is going to get hurt badly falling off the ladder . I can not believe they dont have warning sticker on the Ladder with weight restrictions or something

I was surprised to find our ladder so flimsy. We've had other motor homes with ladders sturdy enough for my 245 pounds. Another cost-cutting technique by Thor.

I have a 2016 windsport 35C and in addition to the ladder falling apart
The door wouldnt open, the lock was broke we had to destroy the lock to get the door open
The lid on the toilet broke off.
The bed that lowers over seats wont go all the way back up.
The sewer seems to plug up very easy.
I couldnt figure out where to hook up my tailgater satellite dish. I couldnt find any instructions anywhere. The coaixile fitting outside was for park cable I guess.
The wires behind the TV are not marked and very hard to get at.
The shades are terrible. They are very hard to get back up.
It is just one thing after another. I cannot imagine buying another Thor RV

The telescoping ladder I have is 12.5 feet long, 32 inches retracted. It is aluminum and weighs about 25 pounds. Takes up much less space than the folding ones from the infomercials or an extension ladder.

We bought a 16.5 footer for use around the house.
It'll get us up on top of our Outlaw; but it's way too large and heavy to carry along with us...
