Looking for Sumo Springs advice
I'm going to install Sumo Springs on my 2016 Vegas 25.3, but need advice as to which to use.
On the front, there are two options: SSF-106-40 at 500 lbs rating or SF-106-47 at 1000 lbs rating (both rated at 50% compression).
For the rear, their are three options - 2600 lb, 4600 lb, or 5400 lb.

I installed the 40s on the front, wow what an amazing difference they made.

I had a similar question and called the Sumo help line. Their application engineer identified the correct springs for me.

Sumo Springs
I have put them on the front first and worked so well I also put them on the rear.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but this is my understanding of how Sumo Springs work.
Sumos are solid cast rubber-like material that replace the spring bumpers in the front, and are added as spring bumpers in the rear (at least on my Vegas, that is how they work.) They cushion the effect of rapid and/or deep spring travel in order to eliminate the "chunk: when the springs bottoms out or for large bumps, and also to stabilize the spring movement in any direction other than up and down. Bottom line - they enhance ride comfort, and better control excessive or misdirectional spring movement.

Last season I actually installed the sumos on my 2016 Axis 24.1. Let me tell you that I noticed a vast improvement in my rig. The fronts were incredibly easy to install. The stability and tracking is such a dramatic difference. I can literally drive down the road with one finger on the steering wheel. No hyperbole!
I went with the SSF-106-40 in the fronts and rears SSR-106-40-1. The 40s are all in blue. The next step up are yellow 47s were too stiff for me.
I have yet to install the SSR-106-40-1 on the rear. This is one of the projects I have on the list.
I actually have TWO brand new SSR 160-40-1 rears in a box that fit any Ford 450 chassis. I am keeping one set and selling the either. I haven't had a chance to put my second set up for sale.
In my view, the 40s in the front give a nice stable, firm, and soft ride.

I have Sumo Maximums front and rear. The main difference is the reduced sway. It is like having stiffer sway bars. The Sumos did raise the coach about 1.5". As for bumps - no real difference in the small bumps but it really seems to help with broken pavement holes. I use a bean bag mount for the Garmin and before the Sumos it tended to migrate to the windshield when traveling on the Illinois Interstates. After the Sumos it stays put.

REGARDING SUMO SPRINGS ... for the rear...
has anyonr tried the Solo Bump Stops, rather than the more expensive
SSR 160-40-1 rears
I have an inquiry in to SuperSprings, regarding the option of using the
Solo Spring as a replacement for the Bump Stop Spring ..

Just realized that I did not answer this!
Yes, I have them in for the last 6000 miles or so. They added the last bit of driving stability that I was looking for. I now hardly feel any passing trucks, and can steer the unit with one hand, even when trucks are passing. The days of white knuckles are over.
They did not do anything to make the ride softer, bu they make it much more stable.

I would recommend putting the fronts on and then driving it for a while before deciding about the rears.
So far I've only driven ours about 6 miles with only the fronts on and I liked it enough to hold off on any other changes until I get a hundred or so miles on it (just to see).

I put the 106-40 stops on the front of our Axis 25.2 and they made a very noticeable difference in the suspension when hitting bumps and on rough roads, no longer get that steering wheel jarring thump when hitting bumps.

I am of the same mindset. I drove my coach 1k miles and don't think I will do the rears. For me a front and rear sway bar will be next.
