Reflectix and heat transfer

I’ve read good and bad things about using Reflectix on RV windows. Some swear by it. Others swear at it. I’ve got double pane windows in my RV but I still want to use it / “something” to reduce temp transfer. What, specifically , problems does it cause for windows? Can I remediate those problems somehow? Thanks folks!

Going on 3yrs in the 'swear by it' group. Has not caused any problems. Windows clean up with windex as they always have.

I've used reflectix in RV windows for going on 20 years. Current RV has the reflectix mounted to coroplast panels that slide up next to the windows and more or less permanently live there. No problems with any of my windows and the extra insulation on hot Florida days makes the installation priceless.

W use the Reflectix and have no issues. My issue is we bought a class A to see the world and now on hot days we sit inside closed off in bubble wrap.
I am seriously considering going for ceramic window tint. It is expensive and so far we have other priorities for the rig so the tint is on the future wish list
