Remodel

We have a 2017 Freedom Elite and it doesn’t have a couch... has anyone removed the table and booths to put a couch in? If so I’d like to hear from you. Thanks

I’ve been considering removing booth and buying a couple Euro Recliners

Do you have the fuse box in one of your benches? That’s my dilemma. What to do with these two boxes

We changed our dinette to a set of RecPro recliners in our Citation.
It's similar to some of the Freedom Elite's.

Our dinette only had the CO/LP alarm and a 110 outlet. Both were easy to mount in surface mount boxes.
And the bases for the seat belts.

Relocating the 110vac/12vdc breaker/fuse box could be pretty time consuming but definitely doable.

We have a Quantum RS26 with a dinette and couch. We removed the dinette and made a couch. This may or may not be helpful to you. The first photo is a stock photo of what it looked like before and then how we added bench like seating with a Lagun table. Click image for larger version

Yes, we did it ourselves. The difference in space is dramatic. It almost felt like we had added a slide out. The Lagun table mount is worth the money. It goes up and down and swivels any which way. And you can take it completely off if you want.

Have you looked under the bench? If its similar to mine there is much more than the fuse box. Mine also has the automatic transfer switch, water pump, and a couple other small items. We don't really like the table. I do have a couch on the other wall. Been thinking about doing something about the table but I won't touch that rear seat.

That looks great! You've given me some ideas. Ready to take my sawzall to that front seat!

I'm thinking just one seat, side by side, with the removable table...facing forward. That would leave plenty of room on the other side for the pooches.

There was a Gentleman in this forum that did what you describe. Be it far from me to find that post again. It had pics too. He basically turned that area into an 'end table' that contained a charging station and something else (lamp?). It looked pretty sharp. It's something you could consider?

Good luck.
