There is only a single outlet behind the tv for the tv to plug into it. It is not a dual outlet like most outlets. It was made to allow only one plug in it.

Right!! So plugging in my Firestick was a problem. Pulled the TV off the wall in my ACE and found the outlet dangling from the romex. Figured as long as I have to fix it I might as well replace it with a dual plug. There were 4 mounting holes for the brackets to the base but only 3 self tap screws, 2 were the correct length the third would keep the space shuttle from lifting off.

Believe it or not mine has a very strong magnet that holds it,scary to pull hard expecting it to break.
