Removing microwave for added storage

Anyone removed the microwave for additional storage?

Standerson, did you go ahead and do it? ��Mine's a 70-something lbs magnet holder....so thinking about doing the same thing.

I did it in a past travel trailer to increase storage. They're super easy to remove. Just remove the screws that hold on that metal cover, and it'll come right out and leave a nice big shelf (with no door). I left mine doorless. Rigging up a door, if you want one, would likely be the most difficult part.
