replaced flooded with AGM in Sprinter based class C

DW & I purchased new AGM batteries for our 2016 Siesta 24SR two weeks before we picked up the MH. I did not want to replace the factor flooded Group 27 batteries with more flooded batteries. We found the best deal for Group 27 AGM's at SAM's Club.

Congratulations! Please be sure to give us a Road Test Report on them.
I've got Duracell FLA batteries in my Sprinter right now; but will replace them with Duracell AGM batteries when the need arises.
(But since I've got 27s right now: I know I can make a pair of 31s fit... )

That is a good recommendation, and I will consider 31's when these wear out in a few years.

I would have been able to take measurements to see if 31's would fit if the MH had been in our possession. We knew the batteries needed to be replaced because my parents told us one month before getting the MH from them: 'the slide is stuck in extended position, awning will not retract, and entry steps will not retract'. I asked them when was the last time you checked battery water level, their answer 'we never have'. Took those new batteries with us, installed them, and now everything works.
