Does anyone know where the cable splitter is located on this model? I would think it is the same as the 2016. I'm trying to connect Directv and obviously this unit does not have the proper splitters for Directv. Also I just noticed that I labeled the thread 28.3 but my motor home is the 29.3. That's what happens typing on this iPhone screen.

I'm assuming that you've already found the cable splitter, but in case you haven't - I have a 2016 29.3 and the cable splitter is located behind the wall in the cabinet right behind the antenna booster switch. There are four screws and the panel is a little difficult to take off. I bought my unit used about 2 months ago and have been looking for the cable splitter, I finally just started running down wires and taking panels off until I found it.

Yes the splitter is behind the ant. connection. To change the splitter (as I did) I removed the large pannel with all the switchs. This gave me greater access to the area. I then moved the splittler to the cabinet side wall for easier mantiance if needed. In doing all of this I found the connection on the ant. booster plates were loose tighted. I am not happy at all of the location of the king ant. Is yours right next to the AC unit.

be happy, My antenna is a Winegard and it is located very close to the AC unit. I actually get fairly good reception at least on my first two trips. The previous owner had installed a satellite system and screwed up the splitter setup which is why I had to hunt it down and unhook the satellite connections. Taking the front panel with all the switchs would have made the job easier.
