RV Style 120v receptacle with USB

Has anyone seen an RV style 120v receptacle with USB built in?

I like the ones with the USB-A and USB-C https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZJCWVN9

But when I remove the outlets in my Hurricane I can see they don't have an electrical box with them and just have the little tabs that flip out on the sides. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BDWKWJC Like this one.

There are a few I actually removed, used a reciprocating saw, made the hole a little larger and put in a residential blue electrical box and they worked fine. 2 on the sides of the bed in the bedroom, the one under the dinette, and the one under the "passenger desk". But the ones over the couch have much less room behind them to work with because of the cabinet floor on the other side so it might be harder to get the blue electrical box installed and the cables through them.

I'm guessing that there are none because I think I would have found them but just asking to be sure I've looked everywhere.

Thanks

That wasn't really the question I asked. I realize they are great for houses, but RV's have special plugs with the little screw tabs that hold them in place. I'm asking if anyone has seen those screw tab type receptacles with USB ports.

walked out to the hurricane, popped off a cover and my outlets are screwed in our rig and would have no problem replacing it with usb/120 outlet.

Reading comprehension seems a bit low today. Maybe pictures?

RV outlets are a BOX and OUTLET in one device. There are no exposed electrical contact points on the back of the outlet.

Did you look at the back side?

I was going to say the same thing. Looking at the outlet with the cover off will show you nothing.

This is what is in my Hurricane.

The only issue I have ran into has been having enough slack to cut and splice the wires when the stab type was used OM.

It will show you quite a bit if you know what your looking at. If not, get someone that knows what they’re doing to complete the project.

We're you able to find these RV style with the USB by chance, I did some searching but only found home options. I'd like to get rid of our charging blocks scattered around if possible.

Here's a "RV Designer" outlet that might work.

Thats a nice outlet w/ the quick charge USB.
I have replaced some of my outlets with the USB/outlet combo (not quick charge though). I hate the tamper resistant outlets, they are such a pain to plug into.
You should probalby get the pvc old work box if you have space:
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Carlon-1...E&gclsrc=aw.ds
Then you actually have something to screw into and will hold the outlet. Hopefully you have enough slack to wire up the new outlet.

This is the one I installed since everything we have uses USBC

On one outlet I had to splice and extend wires

A few years back on our previous TT, didn’t find any usb outlets with those tabs. Had a similar issue but one of the tabs broke on the original. Replaced it with one that had the usb chargers built in also. Used 2 rivets and that worked fine, it was one of the outlets we used the most.

Not without a box: It has exposed connectors.

You have the RV style outlet. To replace that with a residential style outlet you would need to add a box.

The one I posted in the original post is 36w charging capability so I went with those. I ended up getting the blue electrical boxes (https://www.homedepot.com/p/Carlon-1...118R/100154882 and then using a reciprocal saw to make the holes bigger and put 4 of them in (1 under the desk up front, 1 under the dinette, and 2 under the bed). If anyone wants pictures I can show you what I did.
