RV Tire Covers??

Pulled into a site in Ohio yesterday and will be here for 16 nights. Setting up camp today and that includes putting on the tire covers. Dirt and gravel sites with rain projected so the covers will stop the dirt splatter from hitting the wheels.

I use tire covers whenever parked/stored for more than one night. It might take 5 minutes either to put on or take off. Sunlight and ozone will deteriorate rubber (please, no expert arguments). Also, when stored at home, on concrete and gravel, I cut 4 rubber mats from horse stall mats to park on. Over time, concrete/gravel will cause oils to leech out of the rubber sitting in one place. Anybody who has worked with retail tire displays knows of the shadow stacks of tires leave. So Scuba, get you some!

I use snap ring covers. The ones I have only go down to 19 inch.

If you can find them snap ring style is the way to go.

My opinion only. I don’t want any wheel cover where I have to lay on the ground to fasten a snap on the inside of the wheel. I’m too old for that crap.

I purchased Snap Ring Tire Covers. They are sold in pairs so they cost a lot more than the get on the ground and tie them on brands. Used that stile on my fifth wheel. Never again. Rocks, wet grass, mud, etc.. Pull the ring open around the bottom of the tires and pull up and slide it over the top of the tire.

Ditto on the Snap Ring. Less than 2 minutes to put on all 4.
