How did you add a lockout pin to use/store switch?

I used a stiff wire, made sure use was active heated wire and pushed thru store end of switch. If I want to store remove wire hit store and reinsert wire

I agree!
Do you think that velcroing the cat in place might have been cheaper?

I think that pin idea is brilliant!
I haven't had a problem at all with my switch getting pushed. Mine is off to the side enough.....but that is a great solution!

On your to do list...regarding the reading lights...we grappled with same problem in the bedroom and above the couch...we found a 4 pack of led , battery operated sticky lights at Home Depot for about $12 .. they turned out be a good solution for our particular problem.
The grab bar for the screen door...YES...many of us have done this
How about a plug in USB port in your elec. outlet in the bedroom .. in the Axis we are fortunate to have a charge station in the bedroom.
Have FUN ! Those mods are great ! our next mod is adding the extension to our bathroom sink !

For reading lts I used an old lens from exit sign ,cut out a disk drilled hole in center and installed between lens and led assembly, nice dim red Glow you can use any color you like just make sure it won't melt or burn.

Thanks for the idea I'll do that to several of mine. The light switch in the bed room has the slide switch right below it and reaching in in the dark I hit the retract switch

Best mod I made to our 29FE was to install the rotating ceiling vent in the air conditioner shield. What a difference that made

My Mods so far
Just replaced the manual slide thermostat on my 29 FE with the LED digital readout thermostat that I purchased from Amazon ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Works great, more precise, took me about 15 minutes.
Also switched out the plastics large/small double sink with a stainless steel double bowl (equal size) sink, that I purchased from Amazon ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Took about 2hrs hardest part was removing the mounting screws holding down the back of the sink. That was tough on my arms and shoulders.
