New Wine rack

Just finished making use of some extra space in the Hurricane and added a wine rack under the fridge. Check out the pics!

Great Work. Now I know where you store your handmade vodka though.

Nice!! And it's out of sight from unwanted eyes. I'm going to have to look at the similar spot in our Axis.

hidden wine rack

What a clever idea! Now I'm looking for a volunteer to secretly install that in our Freedom Elite. I need a place to hide my "medicine."

If I'm not mistaken that's also the return air vent for the furnace, so hope you didn't completely block it. Great use of space though!

I thought it was a cold air return for the furnace also (slotted panel)- BUT IT IS NOT!

The furnace gets all it's air from the outside. NONE from the inside. I do not know why Thor placed a vented panel there but if you look at the furnace and the manual for the furnace - you will also discover the cold air is drawn from the outside! I am not interfering with the furnace function at all!!!!

The combustion air comes from the outside and is vented to the outside. The cabin air is recirculated through the heat exchange just behind the burner.

Return air is supplied through openings in furnace casing. All return air
passages must be kept clear for furnace to function properly. Refer to
MINIMUM CLEARANCE TO FLOORBOARDS WALLS &
similar COMBUSTIBLE BUILDING MATERIAL. The total unobstructed return air opening size(s) must not BE LESS than specified in MINIMUM RETURN AIR SPECIFICATIONS
-
. Failure to meet minimum return air requirements nullifies furnace warranty.

I'd have to agree with the 1st paragraph or I wouldn't of ask the question. I'd double check with your furnace running.

Thanks Dave!!!

I think so and I am NOT worried about blocking the air return, especially since we never use the furnace!
