San-t-flush clogged

My San-T-Flush, when hooked up to a water line, just won't accept any water, it's apparently plugged up somewhere. I suspect its the nozzle that is bunged up as dried toilet paper mulch can turn into a hard crust with almost paper mache like properties.

Has anyone been able to unplug their spray nozzle somehow using pressure or chemicals or any other method?

I am totally dreading the idea of having to pull that nozzle out to clean it or replace it, I doubt its accessible without a lot of work. I've been under my rig for weeks now cleaning and painting the frame and I haven't even seen any lines, never mind accessing the tank where the nozzle is located.

Would it be easier to install an aftermarket new flushing kit than to try and fix the built in one?

Thank you for your time and input.

I always use 20 mule team borax and Calgon water softener in my black tank. Never had a problem. Why not try and ding one cup borax and 1/2 cup Calgon and fill tank 3/4 full of water. Take the coach for a 30 mile ride with lots of right and left turns. Empty the holding tank and then try your santflush.

If it takes a 20 Mule team to bust up the clog: it just HAS to be one of epic proportions!

Please let us know if it does the trick; good luck!

I took apart the panel above the location where you hook up the hose, and I immediately saw that the pipe had become disconnected. I put it back together again and it works fine. I was lucky.
