Scissor jacks on our 26b

Decided I didn't like the rocking when someone stepped in the door or walking around inside so decide after a little reserching that I was adding scissor jacks on the rear of our mh. Been using screw jacks on both sides of the hitch. Worked out perfect even on small loose gravel sites. Pretty solid and the only movement i felt is when someone crawled into bed which I thought might happen with the east/west bed slide but thats fine other than that you feel no rocking at all. Found a good spot a few feet from the rear axle where there was plenty of room away from any obstacles. Keep my drill and socket with 12" extension ( I need to get a 18" extension) on the drivers floorboard as a reminder so I wont dive off and rip them off. Click image for larger version

Great job; I put similar ones on the back of our coach.

I wouldn't worry about ripping them off when driving away: 1) they make a horrible noise when you do that, and 2) they just dig in the dirt--you stop quickly realizing what you've done. Not saying that I've done something like that before or not, however

Great job. I, too, recently added the jacks under the rear my Vegas. No more walking like a sailor on a rocking boat.
