Scrawny TV in Vegas 24.1

Hi all. Searched on the mods in this forum and got tired looking. This 2015 has a 28” cheap TV above the entry door. Hard to see if your sitting on the right side of the sofa. Not close to ideal. There is ample room up there for a 32” TV but to make that work my time and money, I think it needs to be on a different mount. One that swivels out, or scissors out.. The backing boards used now seem more than amp,e to support this..
Anyone done this?

I think that, just about all of the newer coaches have mounts like that. Check with the parts counter at your dealership, and happy hunting!,

32" has been the standard TV size since '17 in the 24.1 (maybe even 2016).

In your situation, you may need to add a new mount to accommodate a 32 inch TV.

As you may be aware, the old Seiki/Axxera TVs have a QAM tuner so in some RV parks you are not able to receive the digital cable channels.

So it's wise to purchase a 32 inch "smart" TV with a bonified QAM tuner. They can be found for $100-125

We've got a 32" LG up front in our coach, and it works great!

I just replaced my Seiki with a new mount and 32" smart tv. Mainly because no QAM in Seiki and the HDMI inputs were impossible to reach. Mount about $20 at Walmart. Pulls out, swivels and tilts. Makes viewing much better and I can easily access HDMI and USB ports if I need them.

How much did you pay for the TV?

You'll need this info to remove the TV.

It also has info on the mount I bought.

Thanks Ducksface.. I have the same bracket in my 2015 but they attached straps to the tabs which are stuffed behind tv. Once you luck into them, scratch your head a few times, you pull on them and poof! Also, Looking at your pic of the wall mounting area with TV removed, mine looks much more stout. I’ll post some pics when I get back inside the MH..

I did it make sure you get a bracket that is heavy I tried three and found the one that worked best was the one with one square post that swivels. I’ll try to find picture of it

The camping world TV and a 14 dolla4 firestick and you're set.
Add a 20 dollar.wireless keyboard and you're surfing the net.
