Hurricane 29M

So far we are loving our 2017 Hurricane 29M. This is our first motor coach. We too are having a few small issues with our unit. One of the compartment doors was off center so our dealer had to order us a new one. We went on our first trip and when we flip the switch for the awning lights the lights flickered then went off. Tried again but they would not come on. Same with the porch light switch. Back to the dealer next week.
Question- when dumping the black tank there is a hole in the bottom of the compartment so we could shut the door but when we put our hose up through it was kind of kinked so we just went straight into the black tank hook up. We were staying at a campsite that had sewer so it would have been nice to hook it up when we got there instead of when we were ready to go. Is there an elbow that we can buy that will fit in this tight hole?

If it is like my 34J - there is NOT an adaptor that will fit. I tried to no avail - neither a 45 or 90 degree will fit. I purchased a flexible sewer hose (brown) from menards (or anywhere else) and keep it hooked up all the time. I then place it through the screw access and pull it to the dump station. Works very well.

The access is so far of center from the access panel it is ridiculous! THOR!!

On my 29m the sewer fitting swivels it can be facing the door while traveling. Then at the camp site it swivels down toward the hole after removing the screw on round panel. Then attach the sewer hose through the hole. The hose should be hanging straight down

On our 2016 Ace 29.3 outs swivels down so we can easily run the hose through the large opening in the bottom of the compartment after unscrewing the access point. I leave it swiveled down all the time and it works great for us.
