Thumbs up Shower Dams

Yes, I said dam.

So, I'm a big guy 6'5 and 230#. RV showers don't like me and the feeling is mutual. I'm sure I'm not the only one who enjoys a wet shower curtain wrapped up against your backside and legs while you are trying to shower.

That's another issue to address in the coming months. Meanwhile, when you are in the shower and move around that stupid curtain moves right along with you and subsequently shifts to one side leaving a nice gap for water to splash onto the floor, toilet, cabinet or whatever is there.

I knew there was something out there but just couldn't find anything substantial and big enough to deflect water back into the shower basin. I started designing something to be made out of plexiglass and then one day finally came across these shower guards. Installation was a breeze and they work great!

In case you are wondering: Spraymaid 44" Shower Guards ~$20

So you bought this MH not thinking about how you would fit in the shower. It's too small for anyone of reasonable size.

At 5'10", and 195 pounds: I figure that I'm pretty much right on the "average" mark.
Our 24"x32" shower works okay for me; but there's no room for anyone to help scrub my back...

Those are a good idea. My shower has a sliding shower door so no need for the old curtain. When I bought my current motor home, there was one thing that I wanted was a shower door. My first class b motor home only had a wet bath/ toilet combo. It worked but it was not to my liking.

But you could brush your teeth, AND also take a crap, and shower at the same time.
It really speeds up getting ready in the mornings!
