Christmas List

So, what’s on your Christmas list this year? Any new toys or upgrades?

We're having a pair of recliners installed in our camper.
The uncomfortable couch was even a more miserable bed.

I am looking at buying an Acme Car tow Dolly with the surge disc brake system as well as snap pads for the leveling system. I am still considering the Sprinter flash computer upgrade for additional horsepower and torque. Santa may be busy in my house this year.

Thinking of towing our Ford Flex. It will be right t the top of my weight ability. I can flat tow it but thought it would be less expensive with the dolly vs tow bar and brake system.

What are you figuring for an allowable weight limit?
(The Flex is a great choice!)

I figure that I'm at least 1,000 pounds under the limit for mine

I'm considering some sort of mudflap, rain protection for our Jeep Grand Cherokee. We just bought the Blue OX tow bar kit which works fantastic, but now the Jeep is covered in dirty rain spray from following so close. Any suggestions would be great.

Also Note:
Thank You to all of our Veterans!!

A trip to the Tiffin factory in Alabama so we can look at how a quality RV is assembled. If that doesn't go well, then a trip to the Winnebago factory. In other words, we're getting a Dell.

I have about 30 mods sitting in the

My christmas hope is to get somewhere near the bottom of the box.

Hi Bob

The dolly weighs under 350 pounds. The Flex comes in under 4500 pounds. If I tow it with 1/4 tank it will save me some weight. Still looking into it. The tow dolly can be stored standing up to save space and comes with surge disc brakes. There are led tail lights on it, but some states require brake lights on the towed vehicle which magnetic mounted lights would work.

Yeah we use that dolly to tow our vehicles around with (So far I've towed 4 different cars: Focus Electric, Escape, C-Max Energi, and Bolt with it). Both the C-Max and the Bolt are pretty heavy (3900 lbs and 3500 lbs) but haven't had an issue at all (our Axis only has the 5000 lb hitch: back in 2014 Thor was only installing 5k hitches).
