Vegas shower idea

So I've had my Vegas for about a year and a half. It's a 2014. I use it to tow my race car and trailer. I absolutely hate the bathroom faucet to run the shower. So I was thinking of trying something like this. Would it be possible to mount something like this in the shower. Then run the pex from the sink to the shower. Wouldn't need to run those fittings that are shown. I was thinking you could use the box and mount any faucet you want in there. I searched but I couldn't find where anyone did anything like this.

I've seen a lot of shower mods but have never seen anyone use a washing machine hookup in the shower. You can probably make it work but I think you would seriously hurt your resale value down the road.

You'd be better off just putting a separate faucet connection for the shower on the side of the cabinet where the sink is. I've been thinking about this for a while now.

Something like this guy: Dura RV Shower Faucet (Amazon)
It looks like it would be small enough to not be that intrusive mounted on the side of the cabinet. Could probably pick up a matching set (replace the sink faucet with something that matches the shower one).

The other, more difficult, option would be to crack open the wall and run some pex inside the wall and mount the faucet like the factory does on the newer units.
