Sure:

These are the Balco ones from Camping World.
Where we store our unit also has some mechanics that will work on it for you. They found the locations and welded the jacks on for us.
For the rear ones I had asked them to be slightly angled against each other to provide extra stability (my logic being that they are probably least stable side to side so if they are angled that stability would be increased). That turned out really well because they could poke the end out next to the hitch for easy cranking.

We've only gone camping once since getting them put on (late last season). They did lower the amount of bouncing in the camper--especially at night when people are tossing and turning. Since they can easily handle the weight of the camper I figure the more I crank them down (putting more weight on them and less on the suspension) the less it will shake rattle and roll.

Jamiegeek:

Have you used them to level the Axis? Or just as stabilizers?

Thanks in advance.

In theory they could be used to level it, however, I'm not strong enough (either manually or by using my cordless drill) to get them to lift the camper off the ground. In addition, given that I have them at the extreme ends of the camper I'm not too keen on taking it that far.

Thus I'm only using them for stability. I level with my lynx levelers and then drop the scissor jacks (as can be seen here:
).
Also note that I had to use levelers under the jacks since they couldn't reach once I raised the front.

JamieGeek, do you still happen to have any pics of the jacks mounted on your Axis? Have you had any issues with clearance on the back ones?

Yeah I have pics (Dropbox killed my pics as I was using it to host all of my pics and they decided that making a directory public was a security issue and killed that feature ).

The mounting place for the rear jacks works great. No clearance issues, no problems:

The front ones, however, are mounted right behind the front bumper and in front of the "accordion" section of the frame. In that spot there is considerable flex. Thus if I tighten up the jacks too much it pushes the entire front of the camper up (enough so that the "hood" on the front pops open and you can't close it). Thus I would recommend against mounting the front ones where I did.

Thanks Jamie. This is very helpful. I think we'll start with rear jacks and see how that works out & if needed, look at adding fronts next.
