Snap Pads
I got a set of snap pads for my jacks. These are an awesome product. Gives you about an 1 1/2 more travel, a much bigger foot, and more stability. No more having to crawl underneath to put some boards down to make it level unless you really like to do that. Made of a strong rubber so they don't slide on loose gravel. Very easy to install. Looks interesting. But my leveler jacks already seem to be really close to the ground. How much do they lower the footprint of the jacks?

About an inch and a quarter. I have them on an ACE. The jacks are close to the wheels so shouldn't make to big a difference.

They work excellent.

Just looking at this add, it does not appear to increase the footprint a great deal. Is this just to increase travel instead of blocks? I would be interested if it also increases the footprint.

It increases the footprint by 60%. irv2.com has several threads about them and a rep from the company is fairly active in the threads.
A group buy thread was just started there. $10 off The offer is open until August 16th
For $100 I thought they were worth it.

Any updates from those who have been using the RV SnapPads for awhile? Was it worth the money, and have you had any problems with them?

I have only had them on a short while but have camped on them 3 times. one site was concrete and very level so didn't feel much different. I did the other 2 times on gravel pads and it felt the coach was more stable on the gravel.
I had purchased them mostly for gravel pads. My grandkids live in WV and not around a lot of RV campgrounds. They live near the New River Gorge Bridge which has lots of small campgrounds but mostly for smaller tow behind and tent camping. I am limited to picks close to them. The one we usually end up in is gravel and very uneven/large gravel. As the stay went on I always felt RV was more and more unstable. I think they will help a lot there as they should take up some of that difference. I was always worried about the leveler pads themselves when so uneven.
Thx, Dennis.

I've had them for a while an yes they are. They work great on dirt, gravel, and pavement. A lot more stable and add an extra 1 1/2" to your jacks.

I just ordered a set for our Hurricane. Looking forward to testing them (and not having to get down to put the wood boards down) soon!

Last I saw they didn't make the shape/size needed for my Hurricane... Have they changed that recently?

When I communicated with them, they indicated that the pads are sized based on leveler manufacturer. My Hurricane has Lippert leveling and they should have 9 inch pads. Other leveling systems may have different pad sizes.

Last I have seen was for the 9" w a small lip only was available. They advertise that they are going to expand figments but I have not seen that happen.
They went on my 14 Hurricane 34e w no problem. I like the idea/theory they preach so I thought they were worth a try. Thx.

The Snap Pad Xtra is available in the 9" diameter size, That size fits most PowerGear/LCL jack systems. I bought my SPXs in June and have use then for about 30 times. They work as advertised.

Do they fit your 29M well? And do you like still?
Thank you!

Yes i like them. For some reason the my level pads were a bit smaller than normal. I had to bolt the snap pads to the level pads. Pretty easy to do. They will not come off. Much better having the snap pads.
