Remco 55Aquajet-ARV in Quantum JM31

We upgraded the water pump in our Quantum JM31 to the Remco 55Aquajet-ARV. We had a question so looked up Remco's phone number on their website and called them. We were absolutely stunned. Instead of having to talk to a machine a real person answered and we told her we had a technical question about the 55Aquajet pump. She transferred us to another real person who answered our question. All this on a Friday in less than 5 minuets and within 45 minuets of the end of their business day. And the icing on the cake was her answer fixed the problem we were having.

Forgot to mention that the pump is made in the USA and it says so on the pump.

Nope, I agree it doesn't NEED it, but it might help somebody else in the future if they buy the same pump.

I installed the pump and it worked with good pressure and high flow but when you turned off the water the pump would never stop completely. It acted like there was a leak but I knew that not to be the case. I did not want to adjust the pressure switch without first checking with the factory. When I described the problem the tech immediately said you have air in the system. Said to turn on two or there faucets and let it run for 5 minuets to purge the air. I did that and now the pump turns off when the demand is zero.

Thanks Bob, that’s good to know for if/when I replace our pump.

Sounds like exemplary service from Remco too.
