Spare Tire for F-550 Super C

I searched and didn't see that anyone else posted this so I thought I would share in case there is any interest.

I wanted to get a spare tire for my 2020 Magnitude SV34 at some point for when we are extended trips across the country.

I found a company that offers an OEM steel replica direct replacement wheel that can be used on any position. They also had the best price I could find.... $100 less than similar wheels online..... $135 plus tax shipped.

They also offer free shipping, free returns and a 1-year warranty. Here is the link...

https://www.roadreadywheels.com/prod...5Byear%5D=2018

I just ordered one. Once I verify it fits ok, I will get a tire for it and decide how i'm going to carry it.

That’s the same company many of us Vegas/Axis owners have used for our spare E350/450 rim.

However, if you’ve followed the recent threads, when mounted on the front the rim doesn’t quite clear the caliper by about 2mm. There’s a little bit of “scraping.”
It seems to mount fine on the rears.

So suggest you actually do a trial mount it when it arrives.

It's not for a E450 chassis. He's got an F550 chassis. Not the same wheel.

I will post once I figure something out.

Once I verify the rim will work all the way around (just received it yesterday but won't have time for a week or so to verify it works) I'll be ordering the tire and then figuring out how I will carry it.

There seems to be a lot of room under the back of the coach to mount it to the frame and use a hoist carrier. Not sure I want to have it mounted there because that sucker is going to be heavy and hard to deal with if its ever needed.

I may just end up going with the RoadMaster Hitch Carrier.... but it is expensive:

Going to keep researching options to see which looks like the best way to go.
