Spare tire mount/holder

Good morning
I’ve been looking for a way to hold a spare tire on my Class C Quantum and was looking at the bumper mounted set up. After reading a couple threads I decided against it because it could cause damage to bumper and Thor doesn’t recommend bumper mounted. Is there an undercarriage set up that anybody could recommend? I do have a trailer hitch but plan on towing a vehicle and I won’t have room to carry spare on the towed vehicle. Have a great day everyone!

Chris

Roadmaster 195125. A bit spendy but it’ll do you proud.

If you are planning to flat tow, perhaps a hi/lo or dual drop hitch. The spare tire hitch carrier could be in one slot the tow bar the other. Only valid for flat towing, not dolly or trailer towing.

Example;

ask thor. It might be set up like mine was for a simple under frame rack. I ordered though the dealer from Thor, the attachment points were already in place.
Just a simple triangle of tubular steel. one point connects cenrterline just in front of the hitch, the other two points attach with bolts as hinge points further forward. The tire rests on top, detach the rear point it swings down. Simple, it works well, and would be very easy to DIY if you were so inclined.
