Start-X Remote Start on Magnitude XG-32

I was frustrated with having to start the XG-32 Everytime I need to put the slides in or out. So I started researching remote starts. I ran across the Start-x product and it had high customer review, it was only $115 on Amazon, and they claimed a 30 minute install. So I bought one and had it in two days. First, they lied, it was 10 minutes. It plugs into the back of the OBD port under the dash and then uses the existing key from Ford. Now when I can start it while I am in the coach.

Note all the other remote starts I researched were about $300 and called for splicing, tapping into wiring harnesses, or a $200 install charge.

Nice review, well done.
Maybe
'works with the stock Ford key'
Tells me this for c and b class only, rv's with Ford doors.
Axis and a class use dead keys and don't have a remote door lock key.

Just a heads up, I might be wrong.
If I am wrong, I'll have one ordered before the day is over.

Thanks.
I'm sold.

(im wondering if I bought a remote type Ford key(I don't know if there's a door lock interference 'must have doors locked' type code the remote starter looks for) if it would work in a dead key ignition....
Anyone know?

I don't know if they would have a remote start, but it just seems to work on the OBD port. It has to establish the RFID code from the factory key. There are hard wired remote starts that have key fobs with them. They seemed complicated with a lot of wire splices.

I just tried it from inside the coach and the slide unlock on the computer panel shows the unlock for the slides. I was able to operate them while it was remotely started. Interesting note, the dash shows the message, "turn key to operate vehicle" which is the message for the factory remote start on my F350.

Also, it is a "no honk" remote start which is great for camp grounds.

I was hoping it didn't use the rfid and simply used the remote.
Yours seemed the uncomplicated I was looking for.

I don't want to do the harness cutting and
Play 'splay splice pray'
