Closet Lights

Our FourWinds 31L has a large closet in the bedroom, with 3 doors. It seemed a little dark in the closet, especially when it was full, so I decided to add lights:

- LED strip mounted at the top of the closet
- 3 magnetic switches on the doors

you can open any of the 3 doors and the lights will come on. The magnetic switches work really well.

Here are the parts:

Switches: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Clips to hold the strip: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Light Strip: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I also put in a small panel, so I can have a fuse on that circuit: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Did you tap in to the existing closet light or another source?

I had no power in the closet. I pulled the drawers out on the right of the closet, tapped into the power that went to the wall stereo. That's where I put the breaker hub. The wire was fished between the panels to the top of the closet and you can see in the picture where it comes out.

While I had it out, I took a separate run to the outside storage space that is below the closet, so I have a light at night.

Wow, no lights in closet or storage! I have lights in both places, closet light isn't very bright. I'll probably tap the closet light for power since it's already fused. Still think you had a Great idea, thanks for sharing!!!

The closet in our Vegas 25.2 was a little dark, so I attached a small motion light on the left side. Problem solved, cheap and easy!
