Stroage issues resolved

Greetings to all,
I had read somewhere on the forum about storage issues. We also have encountered a problem of everything shifting around while driving. BTW, we have a Thor Quantum rw28. After much thought and research, I came up with a solution. First, I bought some clear plastic tubs and attached rubber pads on the bottom to help them from sliding around. The storage compartment has a piece of angle aluminum by each side door. I first drilled some holes in these angles and attached oval clevis's to which I could anchor my tie-down straps. These aluminum angles were extremely thin and not well screwed to the compartment bed. I removed them and bought 1" aluminum angles from Lowes and better screws. I drilled holes into these and attached the clevis's. As you can see in the photos this should take care of anything shifting. I'll post again after we take our next trip in early April. Sorry about two of the photo's, I'm not sure how to rotate them.

VERY nice!
My Missus just solves the problem by stuffing more into the compartments; than any engineer ever dreamed possible.

Nothing ever moves...

I suppose that would work. And probably a good choice so you always have everything you could ever possibly want or need.

Yeah... but you can't find it in the pile of stuff that falls out onto the ground...

I did the same thing with D rings. Found the beam running fore and aft on either side of the spare tire storage and mounted with self drilling screws. Same thing on the outer walls. My aluminum angle seems to be pretty beefy and handles the D rings with ease.
