Yes top goes where the bump stop was. Base gets installed on the leaf spring bracket. 1 hour job to install both sides

I guess it depends on your coach. For me I am amazed at just how much the front springs helped in reducing sway and improving low speed cornering and high speed stability.
I am certain that adding the rears could only help more...but like you I held back on the rears for financial reasons as well ( and I was planning on adding Bilsteins).
Had I known that I wouldn’t be able to quickly add the rear Bilsteins due to my coach’s exhaust and heat shield blocking me on the passenger side I probably would have convinced the spouse to let me buy the rear Sumos.
Now, since I don’t have time to order the Sumos and install them before my next trip, I am going to see if the Sumos (along with the Bilstein steering dampener) are enough for me.

Just installed front sumo springs on my 25.3 Axis. Couldn’t believe how easy it was. Accessed from under the front of coach. Took 15 minutes tops. Immediate change and one of the best upgrades in my opinion. **Just like everyone else has said**
Thanks all for the info and help.

Rear Sumo's
Just my two cents here...
we installed the front Sumo's when we first got our Vegas over two years ago now. We were so pleased with the difference in ride that we planned on adding the rear helper springs eventually. Well having completed that install in early July (a little complicated, as the factory floor bracing needed to be relocated and welded). We were very happy with the difference in the ride and handling on our first trip with the rig. Very little movement from other passing vehicles, road variations and crosswinds

Just an FYI.....
Super Springs is running a promotion of 15% for Sumo Springs for an F53 Chassis. They are also running a 10% promotion on other products.
I decided to add Sumo Springs to my Magnitude SV34 and take advantage of the 10% off even though I have been happy with the ride and handling.
I just added the Roadmaster Spare Tire Carrier and a spare tire to my Magnitude. The setup is adding at least 150lbs to the back of the coach so I decided to install the Sumo's as well.
They are coming today so I removed the stock bump stops yesterday. The passenger side was easy. The drivers side was slightly more work because of some wiring harnesses running over the mounting bolt.

Judge: You will notice a difference with them. They work great for me on the MB Chassis.

Agreed..... I installed them on my last coach as well.... a 2018 Outlaw 29H... and they did make a difference.
The F-550 Super C chassis is pretty stock and I have been happy with it but when I saw them on sale and I added the extra weight in the back, I decided to install them all the way around again.

After installing the Sumo Springs on my Magnitude SV34 today I noticed something that I had not thought about before.
I installed my rear Sumo's with the 1" spacer that is included. I did this on my last coach as well because these beasts are so heavy. This puts the Sumo in contact with the axle when the coach is at rest on all 4 wheels.
After raising my jacks and crawling back under the coach to check the Sumo's, I noticed the driver side Sumo was compressed more than the passenger side Sumo. At first I was scratching my head but then it all made sense and gave me reason to wonder about how the manufacturers setup.... or don't setup the suspensions properly from the factory.
My SV 34 has the following on the drivers side that add significant weight to that side of the coach:
- Generator
- Two Diesel Tanks
- DEF Tank
- Gray Tank
- Black Tank
- Residential Fridge
I started to wonder if Thor should be adding a leaf spring on the drivers side of the coach to better balance / level the coach.
I also started wondering if this could even lead to more chassis and structure flexing on the driver' side. Just so happens the issue I am having with the cap of the cab-over flexing and moving is visible on the driver's side.
In any case... I am glad I decided to install the Sumo's even though I was generally happy with the ride and handling and really had no intentions to do it. After seeing how much the suspension squats down with the jacks up and one side sits a little lower than the other really illustrates the need for a more fine tuned suspension from the factory. Adding Sumo Springs, Super Springs or some other similar solution is not a bad thing.

That does seem like a lot of extra weight all on one side. You would think the factory would have distributed the weight more even when building it.
Just thinking out loud right now.

Which PN's (weight) did you install? Have you had a chance to drive and see if it helps with the hard/jarring bumps?

We will be taking it out tomorrow so that will be the first trip with the Sumo's installed.
There is only one part number for the rears for the F-550. It is a 2800lb rated spring (SSR-120-54).
I went with the lightest option for the fronts.... the 1000lb rated springs (SSF-111-40).
