Theater seat tables

In the Omni XG32 I removed the stock "incliner" seats and replaced with RecPro real reclining and comfortable seating. Got the center console section too. Since we sit in them in the mornings having coffee and occasionally eat sitting there we would like a stable and safe table. Ideally something that would "peg" into a cup holder and be able to swivel around a bit. I realize we wouldn't want or couldn't get a big table because of instability. Something small maybe 10" square?? to put the cup or small plate on. Searching online hasn't proved fruitful for me. RecPro doesn't seem to have such an item and another brand mounts in a small post hole which appears to be beside the cup holder not utilizing it. Any suggestions?

That actually sounds like an interesting DIY project.
If you can find a base that will fit into the cupholders: the rest will be easy.
Good luck, and we expect to see pictures!

Our recliners have a cup holder on the end of the outside arms. I exhausted my search for the same thing and ended up making my own.

I purchased a couple of blank plaques similar to this:

Stained and varnished them.

I mounted a PVC drain to the bottom similar to this that fits tightly in the cup holders but loose enough to allow swiveling:

Now we have two rotating trays that we can use for eating, computer work, or holding items. They swivel across the lap when needed and out of the way when getting in or out of the recliners, and can easily be removed and stored in the armrest storage area in the recliners.

Thanks and I figured that might be the route I have to take. Like the PVC drain idea for a swivel. Is that a Lowes/Home Depot thing?

Can I ask? What are the dimensions of the table? Thanks

I believe the ones I got were 9" x 13". I'll have to go out and measure. I may have got them from Michaels or Hobby Lobby. I'll go out and take some pictures as well.

Wrong guess, they are 12" x 16".

The recliners in my pictures above (not RecPro) are microfiber. We've had microfiber furniture in the house for close to 10 years and it wears/cleans really well.

I got the cloth fabric ones for the Omni and although they haven't been in long enough to give a true evaluation, I do like them. They have good support and are comfortable. But we have some 3+ years old vinyl in GFs trailer and they are also comfortable but some minor peeling. I got the cloth because I didn't want to potentially go that route and also the cloth being different material would blend better than 2 different vinyl colors. Mainly for sitting comfort and hoped durability though.
