What about weight? I read that slide outs can only carry a certain amount of weight when extended, which depends on the make and model of the RV. I have a Vegas 24.1

Those of you that replaced the couch with recliner set, do you have to attach them to the floor of the RV?

I did. I drilled pilot holes and used self tapping SS hex head screws to attach the rails into the steel frame of my slide.

I used the same screws that Thor used to mount the original seating. Used metal brackets for conduit pipe, sized to fit over the bottom rails of the new recliners.
