First Mod for the Ace

Hubby made a cover for the stairs that is flush with the floor so our 1 year old won't fall down it. He made the cover foldable with a fence hinge and will be mounting it behind the handrail when not in use. He used 2 squares of FLOR tiles we had extra of and cut to fit. It's pretty solid and my dog loves laying on it and my kid can't fall down it win/win!

Thanks! It took my hubby a couple hours from start to finish. He had grand plans of sanding and staining but decided against it because he's always short on time.

I didn't even think of this until my husband saw it on some mod pages. It's a definitely a must since our kid isn't the most careful. How did you end of storing yours?
