Manual doesn't take any extra time, I can set my level on the floor and the wife is already telling me it shows level on the pad then she levels side to side and before I tell her its level she knows. You will love the jacks
My stepdad's RV (LCI jacks) is that way. It raises up way higher than really needed on automatic. My Bigfoot setup, installed and calibrated at the Bigfoot factory, doesn't do that at all.

That's good while I've had mine this last year I didn't think it was leveling right. I put a laser in the unit and found it was way off from the factory. I went through the re-learn process and reset it without raising the coach anymore than I had to but I never checked again to see how high it lifts it now in auto mode. I'll check it as soon as camping world works on it. I had an appointment for Friday morning and Monday it's still sitting in the lot. We had a long talk this morning. I'll drive by tomorrow again and check.

Why did yall run the OP off? (again)

To OP if you still reading. My advice to you is to put aside $5k and get it done. Stop thinking about it and do it. Go to Thor if possible, or any of the big name dealers.

I know it is hard given what the Salesman told you, but that is water under the bridge now. From your post, I don't think you will be happy with any form of manual blocks. I would say get a new coach with automatic leveling, but the prices are outrageous now. But you may get lucky and get a good price for yours if you sell it yourself?

The $5k may not be too bad assuming the Coach you did not wait on cost more?

The problem I frequently see at campgrounds is front tires off the ground. The “auto” mode drops all 4 jacks down and then tries to level. With the rear jacks down, the front have to raise higher cuz the rear can no longer squat.

I quit auto leveling after 3rd try. I use manual, period. Very easy.

I've had ground so unlevel the wheels come off the ground so I need to put pads under those wheels and relevel. Why can't campgrounds get closer to level. We have a campground by us that many of the sites are about one foot low towards the road and campers park there and never level the rv

I ordered the HWH fully auto kit from Amazon and did the install myself, I recall the kit was about $3,600.00 so if you can get the same kit installed for around the $4,600.00 price it would be worth it, my Axis is a 2017 an I put the system on right after I bought the coach, dealer wanted over $6,000.00 to install, I know HWH has the manual system using the Joy sticks and I really think that is a better deal, I find my self fine tuning the auto mode using the the buttons to hit each corner, I went with the auto due to mounting the controller, I took out the cup holder on the drivers side and the controller fit like it was made for the spot, not a single problem since I put it in, I used the right side outdoor storage second back from the door to mount the pump unit and it will take up about 65% of that storage cabinet.

Hubs and I have always used the Lego system. I think the problem people have with Legos is not having enough of them. You need to have a minimum of two sets with you at all times, especially if you are boondocking. The problem we have seen that people are having with the Legos is climbing up them sharply. With enough Legos, you can make a nice gentle ramp that you will never drive over the front of, and will not be pushed away by your tires. We have never camped at a site where we could not level it with our Lego sets. Only once did we need to stack up firewood logs (on one side) because our Legos were not high enough. We purchased a foldable step immediately after that trip!

Not cheap, but ..

Yeah they really is no inexpensive electric/hydraulic jacks. I was in the same situation as you where the rig I wanted (with jacks) was just sold, but there was an identical one (without jacks) ready to go. I went for the latter, but had the Bigfoot Jacks (fully automatic) installed afterwards. Total jacks and install was $4500, but I think they are worth it because when I arrive at a campsite, I just pull out my chair or hammock, grab a beer, and press a button.

Now do those level the vehicle: or just stabilize it?

I've used wind down scissor Jack's and I can get 4/6 inches of lift, plenty to level and no rocking. They're mounted on the chassis just behind the front wheels, we wild camp a fair bit and it's hard to get a level spot sometimes, works for me....
