Roller leaving a black mark.
Same problem here. I'm getting a black mark under the fridge. I removed the wood from under the fridge, reached back as far as possible with a cleaning rag cleaning what I could reach. cleaning as much of the mark on the tile but after moving the slide twice I have the same mark on the floor. I have a repair company coming to do some other work and will ask what is causing the mark. I'll report back when I meet with them.
Still no update on the aquaHot system. I have an appointment this week to get it serviced. Since my last post the front fans have stopped working. Zone 1 still operates the fans in the back. I have looked for any inline fuses and in all the blocks but no luck sofar. I hope the tech knows. I did find a download for the new thermostat and looking it over to learn if the aquahot zones only are changeable at the thermostat end. I just LOVE the thermostat.
Hope you all are well and staying warm.

AquaHot 400D Tuscany 40KQ question...
What I have on zone 5 is the water bay compartment,,,, Does that have a fan bank on its register ? Reason I ask is when that thermostat calls for heat, I don't hear any fan run.. When checking the fan in the basement (zone 4) I didn't hear it run. I then checked the polarity with a meter and found it to be wired positive to negative. after correcting that the fan ran when heat was called for.
If I'm told the water bay does have a fan, I will prepare a day to remove covers and somehow get in that bin and check the polarity and correct it .... That will make the 3rd fan I have found miswired.. (bad day for QC at Thor)
Also, Number 2 senser, on the thermostat, where is it ? In my thoughts it should be the one in the middle of the coach in the hallway however, When AquaHot is selected , zone 1 and 3 are off, zone 2 is calling for heat, nothing inside the coach is running but the senser is showing a great rise in temp.
Hope everyone is doing well and MC

Well there is something said for consistency. At least you know what to expect and do after diagnosing the problem. They thought they were doing the job properly. To bad the assembler could not be made to correct it.

You will see temperatures increase because the 400D circulation loop goes through the 1/2 bath exchanger, which is close to your sensor
Both my basement fans were correct. However, both are up in the frame rails and nothing in the water bay

AquaHot miswire update
Where to start... On the control board I see that each zone has 4 connections each. Therm "i", Therm "o", fan + and fan -. I have nothing connected to Therm "o" on any of the 5 zones. So knowing my zone 1 and 2 must be front and rear, and when selecting zone 1 for AquaHot the back fans would run. Easy enough so I swapped the two Therm "i" wires and the zones were correct. At this point I thought all was going well,,,,, Nope, as before I had trouble with the front fans. They didn't always run and switching the "i" wires moved that problem to the zone 2 fans. Well duh ? the therm "i" on zone 2 wire is dark blue with a black stripe, from the thermostat inside the coach I toned it to the AquaHot and i had no connection (tone). I then ran a wire from the thermostat out the window and to the proper connection on the AquaHot,,, Fans spin up Hummm must be a cut or crimped hard place in the wire... I havent started looking so I'll update that later.
Zone 5 that is the water bay, has wire hooked up to the fan + & - so I assume there might be fans in the water bay. I have never heard them run so I plan to find out by reversing the wires at the AquaHot and listen for noise..

Unless your Tuscany is quite a bit different than most as to the AquaHot both the Basement exchangers are on separate thermostats.
Interesting

Yes, I do one is a simple 2 wire that controls the basement and a probe type that controls the water holding bay. BTW I found them to be reversed with each other... LOL

We have a 2014 40ex, bought it with 28,000 miles and so far really haven’t had any major issues, had a leveling leg replaced, sat dish replaced, engine a/c system repaired and the bird has been worked on 5 times and all they kept doing was replaced the trombetta solenoid, we have about 36000 on it .

Hello Simidrm,,, So far my engine ac only needed a valve stim replaced and it works good. The Bird and trom was a big problem for me. I still dont think it works right but at least it works. I did do the silver contact Trom, and it clicks in and out for about a year now. I'm thinking about Li battery's so that bird will be replaced with a BIM
Happy Clamping to ya and hope to see you on here often...

I finally ended up replacing the trombetta with a different brand that was rated for 500amp and has worked perfect Since

There is a (white) plastic roller under the fridge that was dark color with what looks like rocks pressed into the plastic. After cleaning it and digging out the rock looking matariel I'm in hope the marks on the floor will not return. While the bottom of the fridge was open I used a bottle brush to clean out the dust and replaced a rubber mount on the fridge. What noise I had before is now gone. Fridge runs quiet again.
AquaHot ----- I found that under the step a few wires got crushed and the thermostat for the front zone was one crushed and lightly touching copper to copper to other wire. Cleaned this up and the problems with the zones are now correct. Received a replacement for the water bay theromostat, replaced and now the water tanks heat now work... My to fix list is starting to get smaller Yee Haww

Since I have the two registers up in the fram rails for the basement i would really like to see a photo of your register in the water bay for the water tank.
sounds like your gaining ground on your projects.

Time for a reply
Sorry I haven't been here in a while. Retired life is keeping me busy. Attached is a pic of the two basement thermostats. The white one is for the basement and the metal one is for the waterbay.
I'm about to finish up on the solar install. At this point I fear I have a bad battery or all 4 are starting to fail. The controller is showing 100%, I turn off the panel and it drops to 75% This is after the 100% has shown for 3 hours. I'm only running 400 watts of PV with an intended 800 watts. A few days ago I needed to start the engine. The battery was near dead so I hit the aux button, No difference, both systems would not start the engine. After running the onboard shore power charger for 20 min's I could start the engine. Might go to the auto parts store and buy a battery checker..
Awh the joys of retirement .....

Your thermostats are exactly like mine. So, the difference is the register placment as mine are both up high in the frame rails, one in front and one in the rear. Thanks for the photo.
A load tester is best however a simple voltage check across the batteries, still connected will show if you have a bad on even if someone thinks it won't. I ran enough GEM cars to prove that deal many years ago as well as multiple battery banks. Cables should be checked closely as well as all connections.

this snow bird is home
Had a good time in Donna tx this season. Did some boondocking on the way home. The solar didn't work so well. I think attaching it to the house side of the Trombeta was the problem. there must be some kind of a diode in that line preventing the solar to charge the house or there is a wacky difference in the type of power from the solar controller I'll get it fingered out someday.
Headed to factory service in late may so maybe they will help and I WILL GET THE AQUAHOT FIXED !
Hope you all are doing well.

Any bus shop will be skilled at troubleshooting and repairing diesel burners if you're in a hurry.
Several independent specialists are around also.
