Upgrade the Door lock
Hello,
We are proud owners of our baby named Blue, a Thor Vegas 2018, 25.3. Looking for ideals to upgrade the door latch and lock, any ideas.

Upgrade in what way?
The OEM latch already has both a latch lock and a deadbolt lock.

highly recommended

We replaced the lock on our 2015 Thor Axis 24.1 with a keypad, with remotes.
I hang one of the remotes back in the bedroom to enable locking and unlocking without leaving the warmth of my bed.

But I just leave the door unlocked, and cock the hammer on my .45.

A 2018 uses a door lock assembly for which there is no replacement, powered or 8ther wise.
(at least there wasn't last month)
I have a hard core magnet type door latch as used on high security doors and it works with rfid or remote.
I've lost a bit of interest lately in mods, but there's a guy on youtube who modded his door to work with one.
The mod isn't for the faint of heart or unskilled.

Ok Bob, now you have kicked off another thread; we gotta know what kind of 45 is it?

"Ole Slabsides" is a Colt 1911-A1 in stainless steel with some serious Chip McCormick parts that I installed.
The trigger breaks like a glass rod at 50 ounces, and it'll shoot 2" groups at 50 yards...

Right on. The best of the best. Have you picked up a box this special ammo just in case
I'm wondering how it is certified. I have heard of dead people voting, but............

You may be able to get them in bulk, but I would guess they would be expensive. I usually use the plated or LSWC's for practice. Lot's cheaper. I used to cast my own, but haven't done that in years. Was a lot cheaper, but time consuming.

Yeah... I have probably 5000 200 gr LSWC heads waiting for the marriage into the family...
But for serious issues: I like Speer's 185 gr "flying ashtray"
(Talk about a hollow-point! )

Right on. You can drive the 185's pretty fast without wearing out the cases.
To stay on topic, drive faster than a Thor.
