Added a trailer hitch.....should it be strong enough to pull a small ATV trailer?

I decided to make a trailer hitch for our 19ft Zinger trailer. We want to be able to hang a bike rack off the back, and maybe even pull a small ATV trailer (you can double tow in Missouri).

I made this out of 2x2 square tubing with 1/4" wall thickness....pretty heavy stuff. I welded up the whole structure first, and then slid it right in between the frame rails on the trailer....and welded it to the frame in several spots, and also welded it to the factory square tubing bumper in several spots.

Should I have any problem towing a light trailer with this setup? Thoughts?

Wow, looks like a great job, well done, and good craftsmanship!!! You should be able to pull just about anything with your setup. One thing of concern is tongue weight, not loading properly will cause trailer sway, something you need to watch carefully.

If you are double towing keep the GCWR of your tow vehicle in mind--very easy to overload with two trailers.

How thick is your bumper material?

my concern is mostly about unloading the tongue of your TT.
Just that hitch structure alone is doing a big part in tipping your TT back. Adding a heavy bike rack, cargo platform, or the tongue of another trailer will do even more......
and a light tongue can lead to increased sway potential.

not knowing the many variables, I couldn't begin to say with any certainty what the capacity of that thing is, but looking at your quality of fabrication I'd guess you know what you are doing and that it's pretty stout.
