A/V Equipment Heat

I'm installing my satellite antenna controller and two Dish receivers in the cabinet below my main room tv, but I'm concerned about heat build up. Has anyone had that issue or used a unique way to address it? I'm thinking about 12v fans that are temperature triggered ...

From an IT guy, yes, if the area has no ventilation the heat will kill the DVR. That said, it doesn't take a lot of air flow to keep them happy. I'm in the process of mounting a PC 5.25" bay fan (used for cooling a hard drive) into the side of a cabinet, powered with an AC adapter with a computer molex connector on one end. This particular cooler has some blue LED lighting and an adjustable fan controller so it needs both 12v and 5v. Don't forget you need a gap or hole somewhere else for the air you are blowing in to come out!
