I don't know what your wheel situation is, but if they are like mine....
best thing I did was to store my wheel simulators away, so that I can get my hand through the hand hole in the wheel, and toss the extensions all together. I wish that'd done it a long time before I did.
that being said, I tried the braided hoses as well as rigid extensions with rubber stabilizers. I looked into using a cat's eye system but couldn't mount it with the wheel simulators.
My next step was going to be to try the duallyvalve long stems. That looks like the best option if you have to extend.
