I stay in the west, at beaches, and boondock mostly
So I need sun for solar panels to charge batteries. Hence, a clear view to the southern sky for my Trav’ler dish.
When we do visit RV parks, I generally do an internet map search prior to reserving. That way I can see the tree & terrain locations.
That said, it’s something to consider. And is why the “Big Boys” in their 40+ foot rigs generally carry a dome dish as a back-up to mount away from the tree blockages.
Something else to buy, store, and deal with.
