The induction cook tops typically need between 20-42 amps depending on the size(single or double burner).

Do an induction SEARCH
I know of two Vegas/Axis Forum members who posted info about a swap to induction-only when they upgraded their kitchen area.

Personally, I don’t have Lithium or an extra large battery bank, so I would be held hostage to either shore-power or Genny to boil water or cook.
And when frequenting campgrounds without plug-in or pure BoonDocking while on the road, propane cooktops make the most sense for me.

The True Induction ones are 1800 Watts for a single burner... so 15 AMPS max but must be on a dedicated 20A line.

www.trueinduction.com Thor used the 2 burner in early models now they are installed a single burner with two gas burners (from what I have seen).

Yeah 15 amps for True Induction and for a double burner they share the 15 amps (e.g. if you start cranking the heat on one the other will drop its setting so that both of them will never draw more than 15amps--at least ours does that).

Our Double Burner tied to single 20 amp Circuit

As noted above, our double burner is tied to a single 20 amp circuit. We’ve had no trouble even when both burners are on. However, I doubt we ever use both burners anywhere near maximum. About 50% power seems to be more than enough to quickly boil water and cook anything.

Exactly how they work, you can run another circuit and spit it up if your constantly needing more than 50% power on both
