Axis 24.1 front bumper & Hitch-it
I fabricated my small front bumper by first installing a receiver on my 2018 Thor Axis 24.1 This way, I can replace the bumper with a bike carrier when I need to bring the electric bikes. I would have made a bigger bumper if I was in deer country a lot. My off-road spotlights in the fog light spaces work great in the desert! For the back, I installed two additional receivers so I can carry two dirt bikes on my Hitch-it rack. The stainless plate protects the rear wall from the handlebars. Unfortunately, no one makes these triple supported Hitch-it racks anymore. They can be easily fabricated though. I can still pull a light trailer with the Hitch-it on, as the middle support bar has another receiver at the back end.
